DeLeo <br /> <br />Chainnan <br />Vice-Chainnan <br />Member <br />Alternate <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />15 September 1986 <br /> <br />The Board of Equalization came to order at 9:00 A.M. with all Board Members and <br />Clerk present for the purpose of completing final decisions on Appeals. . <br /> <br />BOE-86-039-R: The Board inspected this parcel at 2:50P.M. on the 11th of . <br />September and confirmed that the 175 foot frontage on the bluff.over the Stra~~hts <br />of Juan de Fuca is well worth the land valuation and that it is impossible to <br />determine the value of the bunker without seeing the interior. The Board moved to <br />sustain the land valuation of $51,975 and to reduce the improvements valuation <br />to $1,500 for a tota.l va.luation of $53,475. . <br /> <br />BOE-86-040-LO: The Board inspected this parcel and three other parcels adjacent <br />to it in Cape George Village on the afternoon of the 25th of August in order <br />to become familiar with the Assessor's recommendation to adjust the valuation <br />of the four lots in the interest of an equalization of valuation. The Board moved <br />to reduce the valuation on the land for this parcel to $21,000. <br /> <br />BOE-86-077-R: <br />of this parcel <br />and to sustain <br />of $65,430. <br /> <br />BOE-86-078-R: (Parcel No. 939-900-008) The Board moved to adjust the valuation <br />of this oarcel owned by Sea-First Bank to reduce the la.nd valuation to $25,000 <br />and to sutain the building improvements valuation at $55,660 for a total valuation <br />of $80,660. <br /> <br />(Parcel No. <br />owned by Mr. <br />the building <br /> <br />939-900-007) The Board moved to adjust <br />J. R. Kint to reduce the land valuation <br />improvements valuation at $62,930 for a <br /> <br />the valuation <br />to $25,000 <br />total valuation <br /> <br />BOE-86-079-R: <br />of this parcel <br />and to sustain <br />of $34,865. <br /> <br />(Parcel No. 939-900-010) The Board moved to adjust the valuation <br />owned by Virginia Jennings to reduce the land valuation to $21,000 <br />the building improvements valuation at $13,865 for a total ~aluation <br /> <br />BOE-86-041-LO: The Board inspected this parcel at 1:45 P.M. on the 8th of <br />September and confirmed that there were at least one building site in each block <br />within this parcel; although it might require a survey to determine tne exact <br />location of boundaries of the western most block with reference to a deep ravine. <br />The Board moved to sustain tne valuation of land at $20,000. <br /> <br />BOE-86-042-C: The Board inspected this Bed & Breakfast Inn parcel on the morning <br />of 11 September. Based on the recommendation of the Assessor and the State Auditor <br />that there had been a finding of $40,000 in personal property which should be <br />added to the personal property roll s on this parcel, the Board moved to sustain the <br />land valuation at $32,500 and to reduce the building improvements ~aluation from <br />$166,750 to $137,500 for a total valuation of $170,000. <br />. <br />
