The property under appeal consists of an <br />undeveloped lot located on the comer of21" Street and Gise Street in Port Townsend. The <br />appellant wrote on the petition that "In order to reach the lots I would have to put in 100' of road. <br />I would accept the Assessor's estimated value if the cost of road construction was deducted." He <br />is requesting the current assessed value of$25,000 be reduced to $12,750. <br /> <br />Doris Loeschen <br />P.O. He explained <br />the methodology used in valuing the property. <br /> <br />After further discussion regarding market values in the area, the Board concurred to conduct an <br />inspection of the property and make a determination at a later date. <br /> <br />Ms. Loeschen was not present. Appraiser Peter Schuck represented the Assessor's office and <br />was sworn in by Chairman Broders. The property under appeal is a residential lot located at <br />3297 Cliff Street in Port Townsend. The appellant wrote on the petition that 'The land values <br />have not increased. The adjacent lots sold recently for $7,850 (1/2 of 4 lots).
