<br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />WEEK OF MARCH 4, 1996 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Robert Hinton in the absence of <br />Chainnan Richard Wojt. Commissioner Glen Huntingford was present. Chainnan Wojt was <br />attending a National Association of County Officials (NACO) convention in Washington DC. <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICES BRIEFING: Public Services Director Gary Rowe reported <br />on the following: <br />r:f' The possibility of a County curfew has been referred to the Law and Justice Committee <br />for their meeting on Wednesday, March 6, 1996. <br />The proposed ordinance to implement Regulatory Refonn has been scheduled for a public <br />hearing. <br />A schedule has been developed for meetings in the communities that have developed <br />Community Plans as part of the Comprehensive Plan review process. <br />The status of the BMP's that are part of the Critical Areas Ordinance. <br />The status of the court case on the County's Forest Lands Ordinance. <br />The schedule on the Comprehensive Plan adoption. The target date for publication of the <br />draft Comprehensive Plan is April 15, 1996. <br />Research is being done on the request for implementing an Advanced Life Support <br />system for a portion of the County. <br />There are issues with food service and some restaurants in Quilcene. <br /> <br />r:f' <br /> <br />r:f' <br /> <br />r:f' <br />r:f' <br />r:f' <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />r:f' <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The schedule for the Board's meetings with the <br />14 communities that have adopted Community Plans was distributed. <br /> <br />APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA: Commis- <br />sioner Huntingford moved to delete item number 1 and to approve and adopt the balance of <br />Consent Agenda as submitted.
