Commis- <br />sioner Robert Hinton and Commissioner Glen Huntingford were both present. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS' BRIEFING SESSION <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Connnissioner Hinton moved to <br /> <br />approve the minutes of October 28, as presented, and November 4, 1996 as cor- <br /> <br />rected. (Correction to Page 4 regarding the goals of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee - changed from <br />"Chairman Wojt expressed concern about the goals of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee which may not <br />be achieved because oflack offunding." to "Chairman Wojt stated that if all the goals ofthe Solid Waste <br />Advisory Committee are achieved, there may be a problem with funding. ") <br /> <br />PUBLIC SER VICES BRIEFING: Public Services Director Gary <br />Rowe reported that next Wednesday (November 20, 1996) the final 1997 budget <br />hearing schedule will be advertised and the preliminary budget will be available to <br />the public. He asked that a workshop on the 1997 preliminary budget be scheduled <br />next Monday or Tuesday. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hinton noted that the Board received a letter from the Prosecuting <br />Attorney regarding lot consolidation. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The following comments were <br />made: The need for a stop sign at Sycamore Street and Fir Circle; a question <br />regarding how the Comprehensive Plan is going and a statement that the draft needs <br />to be out on the table; AI Scalf stated that he expects the draft Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />~ VO. <br /> <br />22 í,';: <br /> <br />0 ,-t C' ¡()I . <br />.
