G. Brown and Commissioner Larry <br />Dennison. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM COUNTY DEPARTMENTS <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Request to Open Right-of-Way: Portion of Nelson's Landing Road: <br />Leavitt Trucking Company: Public Works Director Gary Rowe explained that the <br />applicant is proposing to extend an access road to their property across the <br />Nelson's Landing Road to Cape George Road. The Public Works department staff <br />reviewed this request and recommends that the angle of the access road to the <br />Cape George Road be changed and that the current access onto Cape George Road <br />from the Nelson's Landing Road be closed. This configuration will allow for <br />one improved access onto Cape George Road and easier access onto Nelson's <br />Landing Road. The applicant has agreed to improve the road at their own <br />expense. <br /> <br />commissioner B. G. Brown moved to approve the proposal recommended by the <br />Public Works Department for opening the right-of-way requested by Leavitt <br />Trucking for private access. Commissioner Dennison seconded the motion which <br />carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />HEALTH DEPUTHENT <br /> <br />~NG BOTICE: sett:i,.ng a Public Hearing t=or the Propos~ Amend- <br />ments to OrdinC\J1ce No. 1-85 and 1-88 Health Department Fee Schedule for <br />Enviro~ental Health Division Serviqes: commissioner B. G. Brown moved to <br />approve the hearing notice setting the public hearing for the proposed <br />changes and increases in rates charged by the Environmental Health Section <br />of the Health Department, for November 27, 1989 at 10:00 a.m. Commissioner <br />Dennison seconded the motion which, carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />~VOL 15r,~:,~ G05364 <br />
