After all bids were checked it was moved by <br />Commissioner O'Meara to award all diesel fuel and heating oil, items <br />numbered 2,5,6,8,12,14,15,16,27,28,29, to Harper Oil Company, $46,541.20; <br />and to award all gasoline and Brinnon Shop diesel fuel items numbered <br />1,3,4,7,9,10,13,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,&26, to Chevron U.S.A., Inc., <br />totalling $66,356.60. Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. Unanimous. <br /> <br />Randy Durant, Director of Environmental Health, spoke with <br />the Board regarding the management of on-site sewage disposal systems <br />(Guidelines WAC-248-96-070). In the past the Board has not been interested <br />in accepting the addional responsibility. Randy advised the Board that <br />there is a proposed contract from Jim Cotton for an on-site sewage disposal <br />system. The Board agreed to continue with their present policies on <br />the matter. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM COUNTY DEPARTMENTS: <br /> <br />Planning reo 1) Forest Practices Permit Application <br />No. FP-09-04128; Crown Zellerbach. For aerial fert- <br />ilization of 2,258 acres of land. Not subject to S.M.A. <br />Commissioner O'Meara moved to sign letter of no objec- <br />tion, Commissoner Brown seconded the motion. Unanimous. <br /> <br />2) Shoreiine Management Substantial Development Permit <br />Applications: <br />a) 27-78; Phil Boling. Shoreline Commission reviewed <br />the applications and recommends the Board approve the <br />project and grant a substantial development permit <br />subjet to 3 conditions. Moved by Commissioner O'Meara, <br />seconded by Commissioner Brown to approve as recommended <br />by the Shoreline Commission. Unanimous. Phil Boling <br />appeared. <br />b) 28-78; Steve Boling. Shoreline Commission reviewed <br />the application and recommends the Board approve the <br />project and grant a substantial development permit <br />subject to 3 conditions. Commissioner Brown moved to <br />approve as recommehded by the Shoreline Commission. <br />Unanimous. Phil Boling appeared. <br /> <br />District <br />Court reo <br /> <br />,/' <br /> <br />1) Appointment of probation Officer. Judge A. C. Grady <br />notified the Board that Jesse E. Mincks has been appointed <br />as part time District Court Probation Officer. Salary <br />'will be $10,000.00 per year. Appointment effective <br />January 1, 1979. <br /> <br />Hearing reo Proposed Morrow-Oliva Short Plat Replat. No one <br />appeared to speak for or against the replat. Due to all required signatures <br />being attached to the plat map, Cqrnrnissioner 0' Beara moved to approve and sign. corrmis- <br />sioner Brown seconded the motion.
