Bragg <br />Milt Sanstrom, P.E. <br /> <br />M"INUTES <br /> <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />Week of <br />May 17, 1982 <br /> <br />All members were present when Chairman Brown called the <br />meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes: The minutes for the week of May 10, 1982 <br />were approved as presented by motion of Commissioner O'Meara, seconded <br />by Commissioner Mercer. Unanimous. <br /> <br />VFW Hall Rental Agreement: The agreement with Deborah Shomer <br />to use the premises tor Suti Dance classes was unanimously approved <br />follO\ving the motion by Commissioner O'Meara, seconded by Commissioner <br />t1ercer. <br /> <br />Lease, Winfield Pit; DNR: This five-year lease to use the <br />area for stockpile purposes was approved and signed by motion of Com- <br />missioner Mercer, seconded by Commissioner O'Meara. Unanimous. <br /> <br />The Board spent most of the day dealing with departmental <br />business, then recessed until Tuesday, May 18, 1982, at which time <br />Commissioners Brown and Mercer were present. Commissioner O'Meara was <br />in Seattle. <br /> <br />Public Phone for Courthouse: Katy Koller, of Pacific North- <br />west Bell, met with the Board and Marianne Walters to discuss placement <br />of a pay telephone. It was decided that a woodgrain would suit the <br />decor best and that the phone should be located on the first floor near <br />the elevator. The phone will be installed free of c~arge, as a public <br />telephone, with the County receiving 15 percent of the revenue. Usage <br />will be reviewed after six months and, if the phone is paying for <br />itself, this method will be continued. If the revenue does not justify <br />a public telephone, the account will be changed to a semi-public pay <br />telephone status and the County will be charged approximately $14.00 <br />per month, with no additional installation charge. <br /> <br />Interlocal Cooperation Agreement: This agreement with the <br />Port of Port Townsend tor installation ot a public float and landing <br />ramp at Hadlock was approved and signed by Commissioners Brown and <br />Mercer. <br /> <br />Special Occasion Liquor License: The Harbormaster Restaurant's <br />application tor June 4-~-6, 1982 was approved by motion of Commissioner <br />Mercer, seconded by Commissioner Brown. <br /> <br />Hearing Notice; Road Vacation Petition: The petition by <br />Katherine Lytle to vacate an alley in Block 2, Olsen's Addition to <br />Irondale was accepted and, by motion of Commissioner Mercer, seconded <br />by Commissioner Brown, the hearing date was set for July 6, 1982 at <br />10:30 a.m. <br /> <br />Letter to R.
