<br />--- <br /> <br />Minutes of July 12, 1976, con't. <br />P.2 <br /> <br />Shirley Hicks and Alice Sell, Jefferson County Neighborhood Club, Tri-Cities <br />Community Center appeared to submitted a list of names of persons who were <br />nominated to serve on the advisory board of the Neighborhood club. Mrs. <br />Hicks discussed the scheduled activities of the new Tri-Cities Community <br />Center. The two women will return at a later date to discuss the center <br />further. <br /> <br />Business from the Planning Department: <br /> <br />1) , <br /> <br />Extention of a Preliminary Plat; "Hoh Rain Forest Lots". <br />Moved by Commissioner Mercer, second by Commissioner O'Meara to <br />approve the 12month extent ion subject, to five (5) cOIlditionsoutlined <br />in the Planning Depar~nt recommendation of approval"- Unanimous. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Renewal of Preliminary Plat Approval; "Rondelay Meadows". <br />Moved by Commissioner Mercer, second by Commissioner O'Meara to <br />approve of a new 12 month preliminary approval. Subject to to <br />five (5) conditions outlined in the Planning Department's recommend- <br />ation of approval. Unanimous. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Oak Bay Park; Planning Director Cunningham informed that by next <br />week he would submit a list of tasks remaining..before completion <br />of the project. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />County Bike Route Marking Project: Planning Director Cunningham <br />suggested that the County pursue highway markings for Bicycle <br />riders to follow to encourage them, to trayel on" the more safe roads. <br />The Planning Director furthersuggestecl tha,ttne County mark the <br />bicylce route with Captain Dan Henry's symbol, which he presented <br />to the board. The Board requested Engineer Becker to order a lime <br />green color paint to do the markings ,with. Motion by Commissioner <br />Mercer, second by Commissioner O'Meara to accept Cunningham's sugg- <br />estion. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Jefferson/Mason Trident Coordinator: Planning Director Cunningham <br />submitted the revised "Memorandum of Understanding" and "Program <br />Description" to be signed by Chairman Brown. Motion by Commissioner <br />Mercer second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve for Chairman Brown <br />to sign. Uanimous. <br /> <br />6) Final Short Plats; <br />Kephart - Submitted two (2) final short plats for approval - <br />Moved by Commissioner Mercer, second by Commissioner O'Meara <br />to approve for Chairman Brown to sign. <br /> <br />7) Army Corps Public Notice: <br />A.J. Pedorak: #o7l-0YB-00345l; Installation of a float, applicant <br />has applied for a Shoreline Management Permit. Moved by Commissioner <br />Mercer second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve for Chairman <br />Brown to sign notice of no objections. <br /> <br />8) Planning Commission's recommendation re: 1977 Road Construction <br />Program. Planning Director Cunningham presented a letter of comments <br />from the Planning Commissioner to the Board, comments were as follows: <br /> <br />1. Appear.s.,..to",confonnto County Corrprehensive Plan. <br />2. That the County Park Plan be relierl upon for definite crail planning in <br />relationship to County Roads. <br />3. That the Six Year Road Program and the Annual Road Program be depicterl <br />in map form also. <br />4. Increase Citizen input. <br /> <br />Therefore it was moved by Commissioner O'Meara second by Commissioner <br />Mercer to approve Resolution No. ~-J~; Six Year Road Construction <br />Program. Unanimous. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the meeting of July 6, 1976 were unanimously approved by the <br />Board, motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Mercer. <br /> <br />The Board approved and signed the bills for June to be paid in July, moved <br />by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Mercer.
