This has <br />adopted by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners after careful and quite extended <br />consideration of the many factors and factions involved. <br /> <br /> <br />We, like the adopted SMP, definitely oppose net pen farming. We support enthusiastically the 150 <br />foot buffers to protect the shoreline, something that is a necessity for our county's and children's well- <br />being.
