Setting 150’ buffers based on BAS, yet providing terms for some modifications when
ecological functions can be retained seems justified.
The prohibition of commercial net pen farming and fostering of non-structural shoreline protection (i.e.
NOT armoring) are also important features I support.

I hope this SMP approach will be followed in Clallam County, where I live.

Judy Larson
1070 Palo Verde Loop
Sequim, WA 98382
1
