SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENTS (2) re: Olympic Area Agency on
Aging (03A) Advisory Council; Eileen Svoboda; Virginia(Ginny) Adams
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The Olympic Area Agency on Aging (03A) Advisory Council had one position which expired on
June 24, 2025. This position was held by Eileen Svoboda. Virginia(Ginny) Adams is a current member that
has an appointment that will expires on September 3, 2025. During the 03A meeting on June 17, 2025,the
Advisory Council unanimously recommended to the Board of County Commissioners the reappointment of
Eileen Svoboda and Virginia(Ginny) Adams.
ANALYSIS:
Council member, Eileen Svoboda and Virginia(Ginny)Adams have submitted their requests, via email, to
continue to serve on the Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A)Advisory Council.
RECOMMENDATION
03A members recommend that the Board of County Commissioners approve the following reappoints:
• Eileen Svoboda-Three (3)year term expiring July 7, 2028
• Virginia(Ginny) Adams—Three (3)year term to begin after existing term expires on September 3,
2025 and new term will expire on September 3, 2028.
