Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC)
Special Meeting Minutes November 22, 2024 – 8:30 a.m.
Resort at Port Ludlow, Marina Room
One Heron Road, Port Ludlow, WA 98365 (HYBRID)
Members: Chair Greg Brotherton, Diana Smeland, Amy Neil, Kevin Wooley and Tara McCauley
Staff: LTAC Clerk Adiel McKnight
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Dean called the Special LTAC meeting to order at the appointed at
8:41 LTAC. Members Smeland, Neil, Wooley and McCauley were present.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Chair Dean called for public comments, and eight comments
were received.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Special Meeting Minutes of November 8, 2024: Member
Smeland moved to approve the Special Meeting Minutes of November 8, 2024 as presented.
Member Wooley seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
2025 Proposal Presentations: The following organizations gave a presentation and answered
questions posed by the Committee.

Member McCauley left the meeting at 11:30 a.m.
DISCUSSION and POTENTIAL ACTION re: 2025 Lodging Tax Funding Awards and
Recommendations: This topic was tabled for a future meeting.
FUTURE MEETING PLANNING AND AGENDA ITEMS
The consensus of the Committee was to schedule presentations for six hours next year. Due to
time restraints Members agreed to continue discuss for recommendations to Tuesday, November
26, 2024.
CLOSING REMARKS
ADJOURNMENT: Chair Dean adjourned the meeting at 11:44 a.m. until the next regular or
special meeting as properly noticed.
