NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Mason County PUD 1, Telecommunications Franchise
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing is scheduled by the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners for Monday,July 21st,2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers,
County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 (HYBRID). Notice of said
hearing is to be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County.
During the hearing, testimony will be taken concerning a resolution to grant Mason County PUD 1 a
nonexclusive franchise to construct, maintain, and operate fiber optic/telecommunications facilities
in County rights-of-way in south eastern Jefferson County, the franchise area would include all
County Road rights-of-way located within Township 25 North, Range 2 West, Section 31.
