Good Morning,
My name is Tony Cox, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI). I’m pleased to share that VRSI has been awarded the U.S. Department of Labor’s
Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP) grant for the Seattle, Washington service delivery area. This includes Island, Kitsap, King, Jefferson, Mason, Thurston and Pierce counties
with services set to launch on July 1, 2025.
As this award was just announced, we are actively working to build out our local network and gather insights from existing providers. The grant—totaling $499,999—will support employment-focused
services for homeless and at-risk veterans, helping them achieve meaningful, long-term stability through workforce reintegration.
VRSI brings more than a decade of experience delivering HVRP services nationwide, with 10 active grants currently supporting veterans across the country. We’re excited to begin serving
the Seattle region and are eager to learn more about the important work your organization is doing. We’d welcome the opportunity to explore potential collaboration and referral partnerships
to ensure veterans receive the comprehensive support they deserve.
