Dear Friends,
I want to share an exciting opportunity with you—one that will have a lasting impact on surgical care at WhidbeyHealth.
This month, thanks to a $2.5 million federal grant, WhidbeyHealth is beginning a critical upgrade to our hospital’s Operating Rooms. We’ll be installing a new, state-of-the-art air handling
system to improve infection control and ensure cleaner, safer air for every patient who undergoes surgery.
But during this necessary construction, we have a rare window—a chance to go even further.
While the ceiling and air system are under renovation, we can also install advanced surgical lights and new patient stretchers—improvements that will enhance safety, precision, and comfort
in the OR for years to come.
