Jeffcom 911 Administrative Board; Alternate, Josh Peters
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
On July 2, 2025, Josh Peters received a letter from Matt Stewart, Executive Director of
Jeffcom 911 Communications, welcoming him to the Jeffcom Administrative Board. Josh Peters
will assume the role of alternate representative, previously held by County Administrator Mark
McCauley. In the event that Commissioner Brotherton is not available, Josh will preside as the
alternate member for Jefferson County.
ANALYSIS:
It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve the appointment for Josh
Peters, County Administrator, to begin effective immediately.
RECOMMENDATION:
Sign the letter of recommendation to appoint Josh Peters as the alternate representative for the Jeffcom
Administrative Board. There are no terms for this board.

Dear Matt,
I am writing to formally designate Josh Peters, Jefferson County Administrator, as the alternate
representative to the Jeffcom 911 Administrative Board, effective immediately.
In this capacity, Josh Peters is authorized to attend board meetings and act on behalf of the County in
the event that Commissioner Brotherton is unavailable. This designation ensures there is continued
participation and representation from Jefferson County in all board matters.
Please update your records to reflect this change. If you require additional documentation, feel free to
contact me.
