Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's a Con's: This change order the Contract Time. This change order will extend the Substantial Completion date to November 14, 2025. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The amount for Change Order No. 10 is a no cost change order. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 10 with Interwest Construction, and return two originals to Public Works for further processing. This is a no cost change order for the additional calendar days granted. Currently,Substantial Completion is reached after 502 calendar days. Per the contract documents,Substantial Completion is granted after the completion of the performance test for the PHUGA Water Reclamation Facility. This change order will grant 104 calendar days,moving the substantial completion date from July 31,2025 to November 14,2025. Per section 00700.D the contractor is entitled to an adjustment of Contract Times for delays,disruptions or interference. Therefore,due to scope changes within previously approved change order 1-9 and for the delay in delivery of the Ovivo bioreactor membrane skid units the County will grant the additional Contract Time listed above. All work materials and measurement to be in accordance with the provisions of the standard specifications and special provisions for the type of construction involved.
