TO: Finance Committee FROM: Stacie Prada, Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee DATE: July 28, 2025 SUBJECT: Treasurer’s Office Signatory Authority STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The authorized signers for Treasurer’s Office bank accounts needs to be updated to reflect new staffing and changed titles. In October 2021, the Finance Committee authorized the following positions to be authorized signers: Treasurer, Chief Deputy Treasurer, and Investment Specialist/Accountant. We need to add the
newly created position of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. ANALYSIS: Authorization of positions rather than names allows updates to occur when staffing changes occur without
requiring Finance Committee action. The new position of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager needs to
have access to bank accounts and the ability to conduct banking transactions. FISCAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION: Please approve a motion to authorize the positions of Treasurer, Chief Deputy Treasurer, Investment Specialist/Accountant, and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager as authorized signers on Treasurer’s Office bank accounts.
