I'm writing in regard to privatizing Recycling.
Al Cairns is living in a different financial universe than the residents he deserves. As the County has recently doubled the dump fees. Started charging for yard waste, which it turns
to compost to sell. Metal collected is also sold for scrap. You're already wringing plenty out of the residents of Jefferson County. Is this because other Counties are doing this?
So, what's another $372.00 dollars a year? You need to do some tweaking in your own house. This is what we elect you to do. There are many states where the dump and recycling are free.
This state never has enough money. Oh, I know, let's raise taxes and fees. Somehow, you're always short and need more, if you don't expect more roadside dumping your dreaming. This
is not serving us.
