Again, Rock Island Shellfish has an urgent need to complete the review process, so if there are any final items requiring attention, we would really like to find a way to work through them as quickly as possible. Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Hi Donna, Please get back to me at your earliest convenience on this. As we've discussed before, Rock Island shellfish has a limited window for planting oysters this year, and it is in danger of missing out on the planting season if the permit process is not wrapped up soon. If you believe additional information is needed to finish processing the application, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can address it. Thanks. Thank you. The ail is approximately 4 feet wide, and a photograph of it is att shed. Mr. Carson did not remove any native vegetation i the areas where the gravel and rock walls are located. ese areas did not have vegetation when Mr. Carson took over he property or had only Himalayan blackberries. The firewood is used as paft,,Rf Rock Island's farming operations. Far orkers may burn the wood for heat while conducting work at the farm. gravel parking area is used for par ing vehicles used as part of the farming operations, and the rock walls serve as a barrie or the gravel and for retainin . The parking area is also used to lay down, stage, or temporarily store farm materials an\eer te that muc of the material that is shown in the picture you sent is gear left over from the previous opeon from t e Corps, Rock Island has removed this material and is in the process of having it properly disope to h ve such material removed from the property within the coming weeks if not sooner. None oment r other materials will remain on a permanent basis (e.g., the fencing and boats). The wall by Container B has lights on the back and t fr t for safety, so that individuals can identify/locate the front and back of the wall. The wall by Container A has I. hts on Ne bottom that serve the same purpose. The lights are LED and approximately 15 watts. In short, all of the i ms you men ' d are in support of or part of the farm, and no residential use is proposed. With respect to the location of the right way, I believe Mr. Carson h s had a survey performed of the properties to confirm the boundary between his pro erties and the right of way. WhiE the right of way is 60 feet wide, the centerline of the right of way is not located at a center of the paved roadway but is ther to the north of it. If Public Works has different information, we can foll w up separately with them. Regardin/comes HWM, Con ence used information provided by NOAA. NOAA ha a beach slope reference line layer here: Unap whit as elevations for all of the common tidal metrics. Conflu ce added this line to a map and comparee veg ation line to see if they aligned, which in this case they did. Co if, prepared the attached figure, wp es OHWM as identified by the County's sources and NOAA's. The t o lines are very close and even intersect" !e places. Confluence could not put its own labels on the contours, but u can see a tiny little "5"marking in front of Confluence's OHWM, which means the line behind it (that inter cts with Confluence's) is the 10-foour. If the County believes that its OHWM lines is more reliable, then we may a willing to just use that line. Agawo lines seem very close, and we would like to avoid a costly site visit if possibl this answers all your questions. If you need additional clarification, please let me know as soo as possible. z
