Projects of Impact!
We’re celebrating the vital role counties play in shaping strong, thriving communities across Washington State. From delivering essential services to championing innovative solutions,
counties are on the front lines every day. This year’s theme, "Voices of Impact," highlights the power of clear, strategic communication—both within county teams and with the public—to
drive meaningful change.
To mark the occasion, we're launching a brand new award, Projects of Impact, with the winners to be announced at the County Leaders Conference in November!
How Your County Can Participate!
The Washington State Association of Counties is excited to unveil the County Projects of Impact Recognition program! This initiative shines a light on well-deserved, outstanding county
projects that have made a real difference in their communities. Whether it's launching a groundbreaking service, enhancing residents' daily lives, or fostering dynamic collaborations,
we want to celebrate the innovation and dedication of county leaders and staff.
Does your county have a project that deserves recognition? Nominations are open until September 30, 2025. Let's honor the people and projects making an impact in Washington's counties!
