2. LTAC funds spent by your organization 2nd QTR(include 200 word limit regarding activities and funds spent

We have accomplished a great deal this quarter with regard to print and media advertising, as well as
establishment of a lodging reservation system and process for booking stays.
The print ads that we have purchased so far include one in The Stranger,one in WoodenBoat, and one in 48°
North. We anticipate this will spread awareness further and we hope to reach a different subset of reader in
Seattle with The Stranger.
Barb has been hard at work creating a reservation system, booking form process, pay portal, and key
distribution system for Festival lodging. As reported in my recent email,we concluded that it would be better
to create the reservation platform ourselves, as opposed to paying for software licensing. Accordingly, we
have shifted the$1500 we had allocated in a sub-category for software costs to payroll. Significant time and
effort has gone into communications with State Parks to arrange services and usage of rooms at Fort Worden
in light of the recent dissolution of Fort Worden PDA.
As of now,we have booked 50 rooms at Ford Worden;these will accommodate visitors who otherwise could
not afford a downtown hotel.The feedback from those who have reserved rooms—regarding the booking
process and the prospect of attending the Wooden Boat Festival—has been enthusiastic.
