RESOLUTION NO. 3(O — 10
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the County Commissioners of Jefferson County to dispose of
surplus property; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has indicated a need to dispose of property located in Jefferson
County that is described as follows, which has been declared surplus, for sale at a public auction to be
held on December 14, 2010.
Parcel Number: 979 -507 -802 being described as:
Lot 3, Block "D ", First Addition to Oil. City, as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 15,
records of Jefferson County, Washington. Situate in the County of Jefferson, State of
Washington.
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 36.34.020 requires that this intention should be published with a Notice of
Public Hearing regarding the disposal of any County Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of Jefferson County that a
Notice of Hearing shall be published as required by RCW 36.34.020 particularly describing the property
proposed to be sold and designating the place where, the day and hour, when the hearing will be held for
such consideration.

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Authorize sale of one parcel currently owned by the County through tax title action.
Property is appropriate for sale and return to tax roles. Mr. Bowen has submitted an application to purchase parcel
979 -507 -802, Oil City First Addition, Block D, Lot 3
ANALYSIS: Property in question will need to have a public hearing and sold at county auction.
FISCAL IMPACT: Return property to tax role and receive $692.49 in back tax revenue and fees.

ON THE INTENTION OF

SELL SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
will hold a public hearing on the 11th day of October, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the
County Commissioner's Chambers, Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820
Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, Washington, for the purpose of declaring their
intention to dispose of surplus County property described as:
Parcel Number: 979 - 507 -802 being described as:
Lot 3, Block "D ", First Addition to Oil City, as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats,
page 15, records of Jefferson County, Washington. Situate in the County of
Jefferson, State of Washington.
