Property Is appropriate for sale and return to tax roles. Mr. Bowen has submitted an application to purchase parcel 979-507-802, 011 CIty Rrst Addition, Block 0, lot 3 ANALYSIS: Property In question will need to have a public hearing and sold at county auction. FISCAL IMPACT: Return property to tax role and receIve $692.49 In back tax revenue and fees. RECOMMENDATION: Authorize sale of surplus property. {O~4:, Date STATE OF WASHINGTON County of Jefferson IN THE MATTER OF A DETERMINA TION TO DECLARE CERTAIN COUNTY PROPERTY AS SURPLUS ) ) ) ) ) RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, it is the desire of the County Commissioners of Jefferson County to dispose of surplus property; and WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of Jefferson County have indicated a need to dispose of surplus real property described below, for public auction to be held on December l4t\ 2010 at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Parcel Number: 979-507-802 being described as: Lot 3, Block "D", First Addition to Oil City, as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 15, records of Jefferson County, Washington. Situate in the County of Jefferson, State of Washington. WHEREAS, the requirement of RC.W. 36.34.020 that an intention to declare surplus be published with a Notice of Public Hearing regarding the disposal of any County property has been met and the public hearing held on October 11th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners heard no objection to the declaration of this property as surplus. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED, by the Commissioners of Jefferson County that they make a finding and determination as required by RCW 36.34.050 to declare the particularly described property as surplus and allow the Treasurer to proceed with the disposition of said surplus property for a minimum bid of $692.49.
