Good Afternoon! I hope this message finds you well. My name is Alex Frick, and I’m a reporter with the Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader. I’m working on a story about the Washington
State Transportation Commission’s newly adopted fare increases and summer surcharge changes, and I’d love to include local insight on how this will affect the Port Townsend–Coupeville
route.
Given your role, I was hoping to speak with you about how these fare changes were developed and whether the FAC provided input or feedback, whether the committee supports or has concerns
about the changes and what impact you anticipate these adjustments will have on local ferry users, especially during the peak season.
