US 101 temporarily closed near Amanda Park due to water over roadway
QUEETS – US 101 west of Amanda Park is closed until further notice due to water over the roadway.
It is unknown at this time when the highway will reopen.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will monitor the situation. Workers are bringing in extra pumps to help remove the water.
Once the water recedes, crews will inspect the roadway to determine if repairs are needed to reopen it.
WSDOT strongly urges travelers do not drive through road closed signs. There are no detour routes available.
Emergency vehicles will be able to use the roadway.
