Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Dear Ms. Frostholm, While I am unable testify in -person at the hearing this morning, I would like to go on record that I am in strong opposition to this proposal to construct a shellfish operation at Killapie Beach. This appears to be an ecological and pollution disaster waiting to happen if constructed. I assume you are aware of the storm surges that roll this this chokepoint of Hood Canal? As an adjacent resident, I have seen many and it defies logic that this type of above -ground operation, held in place by rebar with plastic baskets somehow tied to the supporting structure will be able to survive the storm surges that force the massively engineered Hood Canal Bridge to frequently close. I fear that we will eventually be seeing these plastic baskets ripped from their mounts and twisted rebar sticking from the beaches, likely abandoned thereafter. Shellfish and gooey duck operations in the area do not have a good record of maintenance as you are also likely aware. This is a beautiful and much enjoyed beach used by many from not only Shine but from the launch area on the north side of the bridge. Please help to keep this section pristine for recreation and not commercial development. I would encourage you to deny this or send it back to the applicant to propose a more ecologically sound plan. Thank you, Michael Tripp 1680 Shine Road Port Ludlow, WA 98365
