Could you please let me know? Also, if you haven’t done so already (please let me know if I missed an email), would you mind sending the costing / scope for the road improvements that you had commissioned? Thanks. Also, I may be at Dabob sometime tomorrow or Friday. Renee and I are looking forward to becoming a more full- time part of the community! Attached for your information are the following: 1. Notes from walk of the road with Shold 2. Shold proposal 3. Stewart proposal First, with respect to Shold, the attached notes reflect my rendition of the meeting / road walk with Shold back in May. The intent was to flag what work would be included in the intended road improvement scope from Shold. (Karl Von Bargen and I walked the road a second time with Shold several weeks ago.) In addition to the general work required re: rock surface and shoulder work, I noted: The places where we discussed widening the corners indicated by the yellow shaded arc <image001.png>. The trees that needed to be removed and/or tended to by the pink shaded “x” <image002.png>. There are about 11 trees noted, but we discussed including about 4 or 5 for purposes of the quote. Possible turn-outs by <image003.png> Second, with respect to the cost proposal, this includes: Clearing, scraping and sculpting the roadsides and edges, and shaving 1 or 2 corners (this I my recollection – it could be just 1, but the one corner for certain is the corner on your property.). It also includes some widening in narrow spots, but not widening as a general principle. This does not include any culverts, but does included the road diverters. This is the ~$14,100 cost. Spreading, grading and compacting rock / gravel. This is the ~$42,500 cost. Clearing some trees – I am not precisely clear what number of trees are included in the bid, but I believe the quote includes 4 or 5. The issue for discussion here is what trees need to be removed for general/common purposes (service vehicles/ emergency vehicles, etc.) versus what trees need to be removed for construction vehicle purposes. This is the ~$9,600 cost. 8/15/25, 10:17 AM RR-20.2 Untitled attachment 323447.htm file:///S:/Case Storage/Rathvon/_File Staging/Exhibits for 8.15 Filing/RR-20.2 Untitled attachment 323447.htm 2/4 CA received 08/15/25 EXHIBIT RR20 Third, attached is the proposal from Stewart. Overall, his cost proposal is low, and includes shaving one corner and removing one tree. He identified one tree (a large maple) that needs to be removed in his opinion, but he did not want to include an estimate a cost for this. I believe other items would also need to be dealt with that are not included in this bid. I believe that we should use a $25,000 figure (at least) for the Stewart proposal. Other items for consideration that affect cost include: (i) having to deal with buried electrical lines and associated easement; and (ii) adding culverts in select areas. Finally, we might consider seeking cost participation by DNR. Hope this is helpful and happy to discuss, and looking forward to seeing the cost proposal you had obtained.
