SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT (1)re: Jefferson County Veterans
Advisory Board; American Legion; Andrew"Andy" Okinczyc
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
At the August 15,2025,meeting of the Veteran's Advisory Board the nomination to appoint American Legion
Representative, Andrew Okincyzc as Vice President was unanimously passed. Andrew will be filling the
vacant position left when former American Legion, Gary Lane, resigned.
ANALYSIS:
It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve the following appointment for
Andrew"Andy" Okinczyc commencing June 1 in the year in which appointed and extending for a
three-year term; June 1, 2025 —June 1, 2028.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the letter for newly appointed Jefferson County Veterans Advisory Board member:
Andrew"Andy" Okinczyc—American Legion Representative and Vice President.
