Because of your support, 2024 was a year of resilience, care, and community for children and families across the North Olympic Peninsula. We’re excited to share our 2024 Impact Report,
a reflection of everything we accomplished together.
Here are just a few highlights from the year:
* Our team drove over 110,000 miles to meet families right where they are.
* The First Step Diaper Family Resource Centers hosted over 9,000 visits where families accessed the support, referrals, and resources they needed to thrive.
* Nearly 600 new coats, 120 new pairs of shoes, and 84 new car seats were provided to keep kids safe and thriving.
* More than 1,800 families accessed First Step programs—from playgroups to home visits to concrete supports.
Behind every number is a story of strength, dignity, and hope. Families tell us, “First Step gave me support I didn’t have in my life and helped me find confidence as a parent. My life
has changed for the better because of you.”
As we look ahead, the need is greater than ever. State and federal funding for many programs supporting families has been reduced or eliminated—but with your continued support, we can
ensure that local children and caregivers have the resources and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.
