Hi Donna,
Thank you for clarifying. Our Project Manager is checking in with the area managers to make sure we have a plan in
place for this.
Thank you,

Hi Michelle,
That was taken from the Habitat Management Plan (HMP) WDFW submitted in 2021. See exhibit 08, page 23 from the
Office of the Hearing Examiner (file path is in Outlook meeting invite). Based on the HMP, I assumed WDFW had
protocols in place that they would be using to monitor toxins at the boat launch.
Regards,
Donna Frostholm

Hello Donna,
I took a look at the staff report and have a question regarding condition #17 on page 11. It sates "The permittee shall
conduct water quality testing for toxins to ensure recreational shellfishing areas in the vicinity of the project area are
adequately protected." What kind of water quality testing are you looking for? Is there a specific procedure for this
testing? On page 10 under JCC 18.25.320 the staff comment says "The proposal does not include potential toxic
materials and the requirement to protect water quality is assumed to be met." In this case, is the water quality testing
for toxins in condition #17 required?
Thank you,
Michelle Holtz
