While you are looking at increasing the fee amount, I would ask that you reconsider how assessment is billed. It is currently billed on tax parcel number. This creates inequity for taxpayers
who live in condominiums as opposed to those that live in other types of multi-family housing. For example, an apartment building with 50 apartments is assessed one charge, while a
condominium with 20 units is assessed 20 times.
While it creates a little more work, assessing the condominium’s homeowner’s association for one charge would be more equitable.
