ORDER
GRANTING MOTION FOR CONTINUANCE
The Hearing Examiner has reviewed a Motion to Continue Hearing filed by new legal
counsel for the above-referenced Applicant, dated September 19, 2025, and a communication of
concurrence in the motion from counsel for Jefferson County Department of Community
Development, received today. For good cause shown, under Hearing Examiner Rule 2.2, the
Examiner grants the motion as follows:
1. The first continuation of the July 2025 public hearing in this matter – set for
Friday, September 26, 2025, is hereby cancelled and continued to a date to be determined at a
future prehearing conference.
2. The status conference scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. is
stricken, to be rescheduled as a prehearing conference by the Clerk, at a time no sooner than
three weeks from the date of this order. The purpose of the prehearing conference will be to
determine whether evidence requested by the Hearing Examiner has been filed and to determine
possible dates for a rescheduled first continued hearing based upon when the parties and
witnesses requested by the Hearing Examiner will be avail able.
3. The Clerk is directed to contact witnesses requested by the Hearing Examiner
with notice of this order cancelling their appearance on September 2 3, 2025.
