Per RCW 36.40.140,the Board of County Commissioners must hold a public hearing regarding the proposed budget changes. ANALYSIS: These budget changes are intended to address unanticipated expenditures of the requesting departments and funds. The Public Hearing Notice will be published in The Jefferson County and Port Townsend Leader on September 24, 2025,and October 1, 2025. FISCAL IMPACT: The only fiscal impact for the Public Hearing Notice is the cost of publication in The Leader. See attached department fund requests for actual fiscal impact to be discussed at the Public Hearing on October 6,2025.
