Thanks again, Viki ---- For Email -- Subject: Draft Homeless and Affordable Housing Plan available for review. Dear Housing Task Force Members, A draft copy of the 2025-2030 Homeless and Affordable Housing Plan is now available for your review (see attached). The October 10th Task Force meeting will be a focused review of the draft plan by the entire Task Force. (Please note that the meeting starts at 2.) Prior to that meeting we are inviting interested stakeholders to learn about and offer feedback on the plan in two listening sessions. (Please note that these are not official Task Force meetings.) The announcement for the listening sessions follows. We would appreciate your forwarding the invitation to anyone you think may be interested to attend the listening sessions but not including other Task Force members. We are especially interested to reach staff in related service sectors, e.g. behavioral health, education, etc. Thanks for your help! Before the Housing Task Force puts its final stamp on the plan, it would like to hear from you on what you think about the plan as to whether it meets our community’s needs. th There will be two listening sessions: the first on Friday September 26 is for lived experts – that is, persons currently experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity; rd the second on October 3 is geared toward service providers and community organizations. Both meetings are open to all who wish to attend. Please forward this invitation to anyone you think may be interested. The draft plan is attached and is also available in the following location through Jefferson’ County’s lazerfiche web portal: Jefferson > Board of Commissioners > Boards & Committees > Housing Task Force > HTF Meeting Packets > 101025 HTF. 2
