That's how authoritarianism creeps in. It's a chilling effect. You stop speaking out. You self-censor. You start to wonder: "What will they do to me if I say something?” And last week, something deeply disturbing happened. Jimmy Kimmel’s show was suspended after he made comments about Charlie Kirk.
