To Whom it May Concern: I am writing to thank you for your ongoing support of our shorelines
and water / watershed / land use / fish, etc. protection issues. Our future, our grandkids',
our present day time and quality of life issues, are at stake. So your efforts mean a lot.
Probably a thankless job, but: Thank You.
I appreciate that the Board of County Commissioners take time to examine ideas offered by the
public as well as to research scientific information which is way beyond the laypersons'
i.e. my, understanding. I appreciate the Policy Advisory Committee's and the Dept. of
Community Development's involvement of shoreline owners, partly because I am one; that is, I
consider the shorelines, the beaches, the mountains, the air, as community, i.e. my personal,
property. I am particularly supportive of the understandings in view of my own experience
that we can protect our shoreline with non-structural remedies.
