Celebrate the intergenerational leadership transition at PTC. <https://olympicdiscoverytrail.us21.list-manage.com/track/click?u=862004159972503fe35fefc93&id=9ccf23eaeb&e=d7954f414c> Dear , It’s time to hand-off the the Peninsula Trails Coalition (PTC) to a new generation of leaders who will steward and complete our beloved Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT). While an all-volunteer led organization has taken us a long way these past 37 years in building, maintaining, and advocating for the ODT, business as usual will not do for the next 37 years. With this in mind, I have an important announcement: The PTC has hired its first ever executive director! I will tell you more about her in forthcoming emails during our fall fundraising campaign and in a letter that you can expect to receive from me in your mailbox this week. For now, I want you to know that hiring our first executive director in 37 years is but the first step in working toward generational change at the PTC. Over the coming year, the PTC board will take additional steps to make the intergenerational leadership transition necessary to secure our vision of a multi-use pathway connecting communities across the North Olympic Peninsula, providing recreation and active transportation access for a diverse spectrum of users, and serving as a catalyst for regional economic development.
