Moved by Diana, seconded by Vern, and carried all in favor: to accept meeting minutes from June 5,
2025.
BOARD MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS (2:27)
Karin requested a follow up regarding the Hicks Shine County Park Complaint correspondence from
June’s meeting. Matt provided an update and Karin requested a follow up to the project planner.
JCPRAB Board Work (4:15)
Bob requested the board review the JCPRAB Event Planning Guide. A subcommittee was created to
finalize the BoCC report and decide when to present the report. They will meet in September.

Old Memorial Field Fence Art Proposal
Alexandra and Commissioner Dudley-Nolette presented to the Board their plan for the Outsider’s Street
Art Project. The board was supportive of the project as it keeps within the chosen parameters.

Volunteering/Outreach Update (Susie, Marianne, & Vern)
Volunteer Appreciation Event scheduled for Sept 10 at HJ Carroll Park: board discussed details and
planning for the event.

Park Tour Report
Bob presented his complete Parks Tour Report. Discussion occurred and updates given regarding park
projects and collaboration with other organizations.
Friends of Irondale Beach Park (1:28:25)
Matt presented the board with the Friends of Irondale Beach County Park proposed contract and next
steps to implement the contract. Discussion occurred about coordination with WDFW.

MANAGER’S REPORT (1:37:35)
Matt shared project updates, recreation programs review, and financial data with the board.
Commissioner Dudley-Nollette encouraged Parks to share data with the public.
Discussion occurred about how JCPRAB could support Matt within the Parks budget.

Commissioner Dudley-Nollette acknowledged the annual Jefferson County Employee Appreciation Picnic
hosted at HJ Carroll Park.
