I currently own property in Jefferson County, and have been an owner for 56 years. I wish to
go on record by saying that the county should accept the the Jefferson Planning Commissions
recommendation of a 50 foot setback on the shoreline. You put into place a commission to
look into this and you go totally against their recommendation. This will cost the county
millions of dollars to defend and will ultimately bankrupt our county.
