Box 47775 Olympia, WA 98504-7775 Re: SMP Jefferson County To Whom It May Concern: Enclosed are my comments relative to reviewing the revised guidelines you wish to promulgate and adopt: I can cogently respond that these revisions far exceed any needed changes to the existing SMP. It should be pointed out that NO property owners have been included in the drafting of these new guidelines. It would appear that they have been purposefully excluded, yet they are the one group most affected by these proposals. Why?? Do they not pay most of the taxes and fees? Calculations for setbacks are of vital concern for all. This harkens back to issues raised above. Why do NEW global programmed requirements appear when undeveloped areas are not the norm? The vast majority of existing sites conform, why go thru all this effort then other than to sustain a bloated autocracy. I maintain that a little sanity and common sense will do more than the dictatorial rants in the revised SMP. Please circulate my comments to all other respondents on this matter. Sincerely, Frederic C. Helm P.O.B. 418, Brinnon, WA 98320
