Dear Sir, Following are two emails . One from my nephew, age 59, who does not have a computer, and one
from myself.
l. I Robert W. Jackson (P>O>Box 36, Port Hadlock, 98339) am a waterfront, shoreline owner and have been
for years, here in Jefferson County. I am 4th generation, all families have lived along the waterfront. I am
VERY much against the S.M.P. buffers and any such regulation for law abiding citizens such as myself.

2. I, James E. Jackson (P.O. Box 1105, Port Hadlock, 98339), also own water front property in Jefferson
County, as did my father, grandfather, and native American ancestors on my mothers side. We, too, are totally
opposed to the proposed Department of Ecology, and Jefferson County DCD/County Commissioners S.M.P.
buffer recommendations.
Please write me back and answer this question: What kind of mind set is it that believes anyone in the
Department of Ecology or local DCD can manage my property better than I can manage it myself? Sincerely,
