Permanent speed limit reduction on SR 20 approaching Port Townsend
PORT TOWNSEND – Travelers will notice new speed limit signs on a section of State Route 20 approaching Port Townsend.
The Washington State Department of Transportation has reduced the speed limit from 50 mph to 40 mph between milepost 7.53, west of the SR 19 interchange, and milepost 9.78, west of Mill
Road.
WSDOT made the change following recent speed studies through the corridor.
New speed limits are enforceable as soon as signs are uncovered.
