Dear Mr. Jeffree Stewart
As an owner of property in Jefferson County I find it a little unusual that the 200 pages of
new regulations that are being imposed on homeowners were not brought to the attention of
affected property owners. The County has the name of everyone they intend to take these
rights from because they cash my check each and every year I send it to them. I just found
out about this document the other day and have briefly skimmed through it. As always I have
a lot of questions regarding this document and the effect of the contained within it. There
is a lot of very vague statements which look like a
blank check handed to the County to make any rule they care too.
Anyone using this document in the future can twist it in so many different ways it will
actually remove more Homeowner rights than it's intent.
The worst part looks like or seems to me that this document is taking away all of my existing
rights to the first one hundred and sixty feet of my property by Jefferson County without
notification or compensation. I understand the goal of the document but I must protest the
way the County did not inform me or other affected Homeowners that they are going to take
away existing rights I already have in my land.
