Re: Power Supply for Pleasant Harbor
To Whom it May Concern,
Mason County PUD No. 1 has completed a capacity analysis of the power system and confirmed that 2 MW of power
is currently available to the Hamlet at Pleasant Harbor development in Brinnon under existing infrastructure conditions
at our Duckabush Substation.
The Statesman Group, the parent company for Pleasant Harbor, has also paid a deposit to the PUD to begin the
process for creating a reimbursement agreement for the engineering, design and construction work to upgrade PUD
facilities to increase power supply for future phases of development, along with a cost-of-service analysis to determine
power rates and terms of power service.
This reimbursement agreement work should conclude later in 2025 and set the framework for expanding electric
service to the master planned resort development in ensuing years.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (360) 877-5249.
Sincerely,
Kristin Masteller
