My wife and I are vehemently opposed to the 150' buffer and 10' setback in the Jefferson County SMP since it will
make our house a non conforming use. We are all to aware of Ecology's game plan to eliminate all non conforming uses.
We have worked hard to maintain out property on the Big Quilcene River in a way that would preserve the environment.
If you're that concerned about the environment on this river, why don't you do something about the State's fishing
easement that invites thousands of "sportsmen" here between August and October to cause erosion, denude the bank,
and snag salmon?
And then there is the issue of the recently passed buffers in the Port Townsend SMP of 50'
