Dear Carolyn,
Statesman has been playing with this plan for 20 years now, original proposal was way out of line with
the Brinnon sub area plan (rural character for one). The business has been in chaos for the last few years
and the word out now is that they don't have the funds. One of the conditions that Mr Aramburu
accomplished was that all the amenities would be in place before construction of housing be started. It
is just way too massive of a proposal for our community of people who came here for the pristine beauty,
the shellfish, hiking and access to the mountains and rivers. 101 is already dangerously busy during the
summer months, with logging trucks to boot. A resort the size of Alderbrook would be much more
appropriate. Is it too late to change the whole plan?? Good luck.
