To The Jefferson County, WA Hearing Examiner:
I am writing in strong support of the Pleasant Harbor Master Resort Project in the Brinnon
and Pleasant Harbor Marina area.
As President of the PNW Business Resource Collective and former Director of Business
Services for EDC Team Jefferson, I work directly with businesses and community leaders
throughout Jefferson County to strengthen our local economy. I have spent significant
time in the South County region—particularly Brinnon and Quilcene—listening to
residents, business owners, and tribal and civic partners about their hopes and
challenges.
The need for economic revitalization in this area is clear. Young people are leaving, small
businesses struggle to sustain year-round operations, and limited infrastructure hinders
growth. The Pleasant Harbor project offers a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reverse
this trend. It will create good jobs, attract new investment, improve local infrastructure,
and bring lasting vitality to the region.
This development is not just a business project—it's a catalyst for community renewal. It
will strengthen Jefferson County's economic foundation and ensure that our rural
communities have a future built on opportunity rather than decline.
I urge you to approve the Pleasant Harbor Master Resort Project and allow this community
to move forward toward a thriving and sustainable future.
