Dear friends,
I live in Port Hadlock, and faithfully recycle everything possible. Please don’t close the Hadlock and Ludlow recycling stations! Driving to Quilcene is too far, and the proposed cost
increases to drive to Jacob Miller are excessive. The result of implementing the Solid Waste Division plan will be that recycling will stop for mid county residents.
Please read or re-read Tom Thiersch’s opinion piece in the Oct 8 Leader. His proposal makes economic and environmental sense. That is the logical and reasonable way to go.
