Dear Commissioners
I strongly oppose being forced to purchase a recycling service. Why should I pay for something I don’t need? I pride myself on producing very little trash and recycling, only going
to the transfer station every 2 to 3 months.
The root cause appears to be a lack of demand for recycled materials. Therefore we the people need to accept the economic reality, put our personal values on hold and simply throw
away the recycling. The solution is clearly NOT to force everyone in the county to give our money to an outside private company for a service that we don’t need.
This situation needs more time for thought so better solutions can be found.
